Hi! I'm Alexander, an Award-Winning Technical Director & Coach in Visual Effects, Animation and Games. My skills are solving technical problems, simplifying workflows and mentoring career goals.

One of my biggest decisions was to switch my first mayor from law to Media Computer Science. There I found a new appreciation for technology and film. This led me to study Technical Directing at the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on blockbusters such as Avatar: The Way of Water, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Monsters at Work, and The Amazing World of Gumball. At big studios like WetaFX, Framestore, and Mackevision.

We won the Oscar for "Best Visual Effects" (2023) for Avatar: The Way of Water. Before my work on the Open Source Pipeline "Plex" on the short film Breaking Point won the VES Award (2017).

After teaching at ArtFx and CG Master Academy I'm thrilled to share my knowledge and experience with artists and technical professionals worldwide via masterclasses and coaching. To create the same opportunities from intern in small company to a supervisor in the biggest production studio.
