Talking about my work on ANIMAN, the pipeline of Breaking Point and USD research
My fellow students had a talk at the FMX 2016 about our experiences as Technical Directors working on different projects at the Filmakademie BW.
My talk is mainly about all the crazy things we worked on for the short animation film ANIMAN starting from Photogrammetry of a human to Motion Capture of Animals. I also introduce arPipeline which will become my Open Source Pipeline PLEX used on the short VFX film Breaking Point (VES Awards 2017). The final part is about my research in the field of USD (Pixar) integration for Maya.
