Pursue your Passions in VFX (from Interstellar to Park Rides) w/ Eugenie von Tunzelmann

21 Artist Show - Episode 005

Eugenie started out at Framestore, working in the R&D on the Hippogriff for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. At DNEG she started to work on fluid dynamics for films like Batman Begins, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Iron Man 2 and Man of Steel, as well as co-developing a crowd system for John Carter.

As CG supervisor on Interstellar, she worked with Nobel Prize-winning astrophysicist Kip Thorne, simulating black holes and wormholes. Three years ago, she made a move away from film and into theme park rides.

I am your host Alexander Richter and you’re listening to the 21 Artist Show a podcast that inspires creatives to make meaningful content to pursue their passions. I am talking with creators, artists and engineers about their careers, the lessons they have learned and how to make an impact.

Enjoy the show!
